![]() But your ring? That'll be a test of strength, for, as you are most likely experiencing, it's very difficult to lift it up in the same manner!īasically (and I'm simplifying here because I am by no means an expert on human anatomy), your middle and ring fingers share a tendon within your hand/arm, causing them to be more closely linked/connected/attached than we normally take them to be. Your thumb, fore, and pinky should still be easy to lift. Now, hide your middle instead of your ring. ![]() You should be able to lift up your other fingers (thumb, fore, middle, and pinky) pretty easily. Then, curl your ring finger under your palm like your pretending as if you lost that finger. The second test! Place your hand on a flat surface. Kind of difficulty! At least for me, it seems as if my middle finger wants to join in on the pointing action, and I can, if I strain hard enough, feel tense movement in my forearm. Now, with your forefinger still pointing, try pointing as well with your ring finger. Easy, right? Try the same with your pinky instead of your middle finger, and it should still be pretty easy. Next, while still pointing, lift up your middle finger to help with the pointing. The first test! Point just your forefinger at your screen. Strangely enough, biology and a few simple tests can possibly prove otherwise! Why does your ring finger and middle finger remain attached when you open your hand? Aren't all fingers usually separated? Looking for what show an image came from?
